About Mira Tarabeine
Her work sits at the intersection of somatic healing and leadership development. She is the author of Mindfulness in Islam. Her signature program, SUKUN (Inner Peace), curates space for humans to design their lives with more purpose during transitional periods by integrating the mind, body, and spirit.
Mira is an innovative leader with a strong pedagogy in leadership development and holistic movement. She coaches her clients using a variety of modalities, including: breathwork, meditation, asana, yoga therapy, and ayurveda.
She studied at Occidental College and the University of Chicago Center of Middle Eastern Studies, and earned her master's in International Affairs from Johns Hopkins University. She has worked across industries from wellness to nonprofits and international affairs.
In addition to hosting international retreats across the globe (Bali, Morocco, Beverly Hills, Guatemala), she taught yoga to high profile Hollywood celebrities and US presidential families.
Mira is trained in Leadership Public Narrative under Harvard's Dr. Marshall Ganz, later becoming a facilitator herself. She was also trained by speechwriters and coaches who have worked with top U.S. politicians, including President Obama.
Her lived experience of surviving the Syrian war, healing from burnout, and navigating secular wellness spaces eventually brought her back to the ultimate source, Allah SWT.
Mira created a global movement around Mindfulness in Islam. Her work impacts an average of 2 million humans every month.
